We do a lot of themed parties for clients, friends, and family... those are all well and good but the opportunity to do a party with a theme we truly love is priceless! The fabulous book series Outlander by Diana Gabaldon has just become a T.V series on the Starz channel. To celebrate this wonderful work of art making it to the small screen, our team decided to throw an Outlander premier party just for us. Just because we love the book and we love decorating and we love a GREAT theme! The book's heroine, Claire, is transported in time from 1945 to 18th century Scotland. Thus begins a great adventure and love story set in a visually stunning setting. Dude. This little guy makes any and all party decorating totally worth it. So much fun to host his 3rd Birthday party featuring the favorite Aledo Bearcats. This theme is easy to pull off as the entire family has an extensive collection of Bearcat items. Sister in law and I threw them on the table and called the three year old peeps over to consume major amounts of sugar and swim. The party ended up with a boatload of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gear (maybe this should have been the theme?) and a dance party to Vanilla Ice's "Ninja Rap" and Styx' "Sail Away".
